Affordable electricity in Allentown, PA

by Donny on January 11, 2011

Allentown’s population of about 111,025 makes it the third biggest city in Pennsylvania, right behind Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.

It’s located in Lehigh County on the Lehigh River, and is the largest of three adjacent cities that combine to make up a region of the eastern and western parts of New Jersey. Bethlehem and Easton are the other two cities.

Allentown is 60 miles north of Philadelphia and 90 miles west of New York.

Cedar Crest College and Muhlenberg College, to four-year colleges make their homes in Allentown.

William Allen, a former mayor of Philadelphia and a shipping merchant laid out what is now the center of Allentown and established it as Northampton Town in 1762.

During the Revolutionary War, the Liberty Bell was hidden from the British in Allentown.

Obviously the results of the Revolutionary War provided freedom for Americans everywhere, but as of recently, Pennsylvanians who are in a deregulated area have the freedom of choosing the most affordable electric rates and suppliers in their area.

There’s no need to jump from one utility supplier’s website to another when you can do it all right here. Just type your zip code into our compare box to shop, compare and choose the best rates for your home or local business.

Once you do that, if you have any further questions, comments or concerns, please feel free to give us a call anytime, and one of our expert energy consultants will be more than happy to help you out with all of your electricity needs.
