Cleveland’s Most Affordable Energy

by Donny on May 9, 2011

Cleveland’s population of about 478,403 makes it the third largest city in the state of Ohio, coming after Columbus and Cincinnati. It’s also the 33rd largest city in the United States.

The city is located just 60 miles west of Pennsylvania and about 60 miles north of Canton, Ohio.

Its location near Lake Erie, and close by other cities is definitely a major advantage to local residents. Another major advantage is the fact they can choose the most affordable electricity rates and providers for their commercial businesses.

Ohio is in a group of several other states to be deregulated which means if you own or manage a business in the area, you can shop, and compare rates before signing up with whichever deal is the best fit for your situation.

To begin, simply type your zip code into our compare box, select ‘residential’ and click ‘compare.’

Cleveland’s unique history is another thing that makes it a great place to live.

In 1796, the city got its name from the “Cleavland Villiage” which is located in Connecticut.

About 2000 years later, in the 1990’s, it was nicknamed ‘The Comeback City” after it recovered from an economic downfall from the 1960s to the 1980s.

The City is represented in the National Football League by the Cleveland Browns and Major League Baseball by the Cleveland Indians.
